5 Foods That Make you Feel Full


When you are dieting food can feel like your enemy. It can be stressful trying to count carbs or calories. You are often left feeling hungry all the time. There are a few foods that will help you to feel full, help your body to work properly, and help you to get the most from your workout. These are just five of them.


Salmon is high in iodine. Iodine is needed to help your thyroid process food and maintain your metabolism. It is also high is fatty acids and omega threes which will also help your body processing food and burning fat.


Try this: Foil wrapped Salmon is a low calorie dinner that is easy to prepare. All you need is a 3 ounces of salmon, one small sliced lemon, and a sprig of deal. Lay out your foil. Place your salmon skin side down on the foil. Place sliced lemon and deal on the salmon. Add one teaspoon of olive oil. Wrap tightly so that no juices escape. Bake at 300 for 15 minutes.


Eggs used to be on the bad food list. However, studies have showed that eggs do not increase your risk of high cholesterol. They will leave you feeling full and satisfied longer than that bagel you ate this morning. In fact, those who eat eggs have been known to eat less for 36 hours after eating the egg.


Try this: sauté mushroom, fresh spinach, and garlic in a small pan. Scramble in  two whole eggs once the spinach is wilted. Serve with whole wheat toast. Apple Cider Vinegar may not bring good things to mind, but it is very good for you. Taking a 2 ounce shot every morning will help to rid your body of impurities. If you put a tablespoon in your bottle of water with your meal, you will prevent a spike in your blood sugar.

It seems as though potatoes get a bad wrap. However, potatoes are high in carbs and in starch. That makes them wonderful for eating right before a workout. Potatoes are very quickly becoming popular among the intermitting fasting community simply because the starches help you to get full and stay full without a huge number of calories. The skin is full of fiber which only adds to the full feeling.


Try this: Wash a raw potato and roll in sea salt while it is still wet. Grill or bake until soft. Then cut them into spears. Sprinkle with carb free popcorn seasoning. This recipe is great with sweet potatoes as well.
