Losing fat is not fun. It can be so stressful that it actually inhibits your weight loss. Counting calories is overwhelming. Abhering to  a strict diet can mean that you are missing out on doing things with your friends, missing family meals, all which results in feeling alone and depressed. Pressing yourself to do an exercise routine that you aren’t familiar with is even more stressful. You end up sore and tired which just kills your motivation. The best ways to lose body fat fast are ones that you can, and will, do without it meaning that you have to do a complete overhaul on your life. So here we go, the three best ways to lose fat quickly:

Number One

Water is your friend. Drink water as much as you can. Drink a full 8 ounce glass before each meal will help you to feel full and eat less. Water will keep you feeling full and that will help you to eat less. Water helps your body function at its very best.

Not getting enough water will actually make your body retain water. Dehydration can make you feel more tired. Your muscles will not regenerate as quickly. Drinking sports drinks is not the same as drinking water. It just adds more calories and sodium. Sodium will just make you retain more water.

Number Two

Keep a food diary for one week. Don’t count your calories. Eat when you are hungry. Keep track of everything that you are eating and see where your calories are coming from. You will probably see that you can cut out a lot of calories from what you drink. The simple task of switching to water will probably help your calorie intake melt away.

You do want to make simple changes after the week of recording what you eat, but you don’t want to stop keeping a food diary. Simple things like cutting out sugary snacks and not going for seconds can go a long way in losing body fat fast.

Number Three

Walk everywhere. Get yourself a step tracker. Download one to your smart phone. It doesn’t matter what kind you have. It doesn’t have to be an expensive one. For one week track how many steps you take. Increase that count daily by 20 steps or more.

For every 5 minutes that you walk, try to job 30 seconds. It is really that simple. You will see a significant amount in activity just within the first week. You will feel better and your clothes will fit better.

These are just three very small changes that you can make. As you make small changes, you will see other changes that you can make. Before you know it, you will be leading a healthy lifestyle.
